Chris was born on the 18th April 1974 and showed from an early age his interest in cars, a large scaletrics set and an electric car (courtesy of Grand Parents) all before he was 10 years old.

At the age of 17 Chris had his first race in MiniCross at Brands Hatch driving his 850cc Mini. He drove in Minicross for about three and a half years before he tried his hand at MotorCross, which in competed in for about 2 years, before selling his bike and returning to Rallycross.

After getting married in 2000, a new RallyCross category was formed 'Stock Hatch' and after much deliberation a MK 3 Fiesta was purchased, which lasted Chris a couple of years before his loving wife produced a Christmas present all racing driver want a bare MK5 Fiesta shell!
